To live will be an awfully big adventure

- J.M. Barrie, Peter Pan

Carrington is originally from Detroit, Michigan and that is where her love affair with the stage began. She started as a dancer and choral singer, and then, at 8-years old, she had her debut role as a Wild Thing in a community center production of Where The Wild Things Are. She even papier-mâched her own costume and is still very, very proud.

From there, a guiding arrow was shot from her heart to New York City and she followed it right to the doors of The William Esper Studio, where she completed their Two Year Meisner Program.

As an Actor and Writer, Carrington has a love for stories of all shapes and sizes, but is most excited by those that allow the audience to dance with the familiar flame of child-like imagination. Nostalgic, warm and whimsy you say? I’ll be there.

When Carrington isn’t Acting or Writing, you can most often find her singing really loudly in her shower, or with the New York City Choir Project and on occasion you may also spot Wild Thing #4 in a dance class or two. Otherwise, she may just be in Astoria hanging out with her dog, Mr. Grapes, and knitting mildly ugly scarves for her friends.
